Some individuals can convert folic acid to the active form methylfolate (5-MTHF) only at a reduced rate. Hillestad's Active B12, B6 & Folate provides 1360 mcg DFE (Dietary Folate Equivalent) folate as methylfolate, along with active forms of vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) and B12 (Methylcobalamin).
